Jonathan and Aletmarie Gibson: 1 October 2011
After popping the question in a hot air balloon over the Witzenberg valley, Aletmarie started looking for the perfect wedding venue. She wanted a simple but unique wedding. Something and somewhere special, to share this beautiful day with friends and family. She found the perfect place on their farm, in the agter-Witzenberg. Halfway up the Skurweberg, a spot was discovered, with allot of potential....
Being the man he is, Jonathan agreed to his fiancé’s request and started cleaning this small plato, building church benches, and making way for 4x4 vehicles to transport their 150 guests up there.
When Jonathan and Aletmarie approached us to do their catering, we saw it as a challenge and happily agreed. Pre-snacks, homemade lemonade, gourmet burgers and chips, old fashion glass bottles coke and homemade sweets and biscuits were on the menu of the day.
Good planning and enthusiasm gave them a wedding with a touch of yesterday; close to nature.
For us, it was an honour to be part of this loving and joyfull family's beautiful wedding. May God's blessing be on their marriage.
